Licence

After a long research activity we have found the solution:

for now smak will be released under the Modified BSD license (aka New BSD)

In the future, when all the issues with non-gpl classes included in smak will be solved, smak will be released under the GPL license.

Maintenance

Since 26.08.2008 untill 29.08.2008 we will work on the server for maintenance. This will cause temporary interruptions to the website and the mailing-list.

It's just a matter of time


Today we submitted smak code to http://savannah.gnu.org. We know there will be some issues with licencing due to some smak's external dependecies not completely GPL-compatible. We hope that everything will be solved well and quickly. We anxiously wait for the Savannah reply to the submission.

Drupal & Smak

We are currently working on the "unification process" of drupal with smak.

The first step is done porting the Garland template to Smarty template engine.
